Biwi village has noticed a sharp drop in the number of diarrhoea related deaths in the last few months in part due to the humble ‘tippee’. This rudimentary stick-tripod based hand washing water dispenser was crafted by the young men’s group on the last visit as part of a team building and sanitation session.
Amid the wielding of Dundee style knives and African banter a prototype beacon was displayed for any to copy and copy they did. None more proudly than that created by 14 year old pint sized Piri who had gate crashed the previous sessions whilst nursing a disturbingly oversized weeping hole in his right shin.
